Alice Music Bot Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Alice Music Discord bot.

What the bot does

Alice Music Bot provides music playback and voice-channel music features. It registers guild audio controllers, manages music settings, joins voice channels when configured, and provides music-related commands.

Data processed

The bot may process:

• Discord server IDs
• Discord channel IDs
• Voice channel IDs
• Voice state needed for music playback
• Command inputs
• Music search queries or track URLs submitted by users
• Guild-specific music settings, such as default nickname, start voice channel, and voice-channel timeout settings
• Admin command inputs for sending messages through the bot

How data is used

Data is used only for:

• music playback
• voice channel connection and playback control
• music queue and command handling
• guild-specific bot settings
• admin utility commands

Data storage

The bot may store guild-specific music settings required for music playback.

The bot does not intentionally store private user message content in its own database.

Data sharing

We do not sell user data.

Music search queries or track URLs may be sent to music/content providers as needed to retrieve or play requested audio.

Data is not shared with third parties except when required by law, necessary to operate the bot through Discord, or necessary to provide music playback.

Message content and AI training

Message content is not used for machine learning or AI model training.

Data deletion

Users or server administrators may request deletion of stored guild-specific settings by contacting the server administration.
